We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Certified Pipe Fit Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a dual proficiency in precision pipe fitting and advanced code welding to ensure the integrity and reliability of critical high-pressure piping systems. You will need to be able to execute high-quality, code-compliant welds (TIG, Stick, etc.) in all positions (including 6G) to permanently join pipes and fittings for high-pressure or high-temperature systems. Responsibilities

• Blueprint Interpretation and Layout: Read and interpret complex technical drawings (isometrics, blueprints) to calculate precise measurements, angles, and layout of the piping system.
  
  
• Pipe Preparation and Fabrication: Measure, cut, thread, and bevel pipe sections and fittings using specialized tools (torches, grinders) to ensure flawless fit-up for welding.
  
  
• Alignment and Secure Fitting: Precisely position and align pipe components using clamps, levels, and jigs. Apply temporary welds (tack welds) to hold the sections securely, preventing movement before the final weld.
  
  
• Advanced Pipe Welding: Execute high-quality, code-compliant welds (TIG, Stick, etc.) in all positions (including 6G) to permanently join pipes and fittings for high-pressure or high-temperature systems.
  
  
• Quality Assurance and Inspection: Visually inspect completed welds for defects (porosity, cracks, undercut) and ensure joints are prepared to meet requirements for non-destructive testing (NDT), such as X-ray inspection.
  
  
• Safety and Code Compliance: Adhere strictly to industry codes (ASME, API) and project specifications. Maintain site safety protocols, including fire watch and safe operation of equipment.
  
  
• Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration on welding power sources, torches, and fitting tools to ensure they operate safely and efficiently for consistent results.
