Core Responsibilities:
- Operations & Logistics: Handle incoming freight, verify accuracy, and organize product using FIFO. Prepare and accurately load the delivery van following safety guidelines.
- Inventory & Control: Maintain stock levels on the sales floor. Assist with regular cycle counting and promptly report any inventory discrepancies or product damage.
- Customer Engagement: Interact with customers on the floor and in the yard, assisting with product location and safely loading materials into their vehicles.
- Retail Support: Provide occasional assistance behind the register, processing sales and payments using the POS system. Help with basic paint mixing/tinting as needed.

Responsibilities
This role combines warehouse operations, inventory control, and customer service at a paint site.
- Stocking & Organization: Unload freight, verify materials against orders, and stock paint/supplies in designated locations. Ensure efficient rotation (FIFO). Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse/stockroom area.
- Material Movement: Safely operate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) to move products. Relocate inventory between the warehouse and sales floor to meet demand.
- Inventory Control: Assist with regular physical inventory counts (cycle counts). Identify and report any product discrepancies, damages, or expired stock immediately.
- Delivery Prep: Accurately pull and stage materials for customer delivery routes. Safely load the delivery van according to safety and routing protocols, ensuring items are secured.
- Customer Interaction: Greet and speak with customers professionally. Assist customers with questions (e.g., stock location) and help load large purchases into their vehicles.
- Store Support: Occasionally help behind the register to process sales transactions (POS operation, cash handling). Assist the sales team with light duties like basic paint mixing/tinting as needed.
