What You’ll Do
- Perform detailed soldering and rework on PCB assemblies, including through-hole, SMT, and BGA components
- Inspect and repair soldering issues following IPC quality standards
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic circuits and assemblies
- Assemble and test both electronic and mechanical components
- Accurately document results and communicate quality issues or trends to your supervisor
- Keep your work area organized, safe, and production-ready
- 1–2 years of hands-on soldering and PCB rework experience (3–5 years preferred)
- Solid understanding of IPC SMT and soldering standards (J-STD-001, 7711/7721)
- Strong ability to read assembly drawings and technical documentation
- Excellent teamwork, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies, frequency generators, and other test tools
- IPC Specialist Certification (J-STD-001 or 7711/7721)
- Prior experience in an ISO9001 electronics manufacturing environment
- 1st shift schedule – Monday through Friday (8-hour days)
- Pay up to $25/hr based on experience
