Responsibilities
- Assembly: Accurately assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and final products using hand tools and power tools.
- Reading Technical Documentation: Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and written work instructions to determine component placement and correct assembly sequence.
- Quality Control: Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet all specifications and quality standards, checking for proper alignment, fit, and functionality.
- Material Handling: Prepare for assembly by studying parts lists, gathering the necessary components, tools, and materials, and maintaining an organized work area.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company and industry safety protocols and quality assurance procedures.
- Documentation: Complete production logs, quality reports, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to identify and implement improvements to assembly processes, quality, and efficiency.
