Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PM tasks on production equipment, including blow molding machines, robots, conveyors, compressors, and auxiliary equipment, following established procedures to maximize asset lifespan and efficiency.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on all plant equipment quickly and effectively to reduce production interruptions.
  
  
• System Expertise:
  
  
  • Electrical: Work with single-phase and three-phase circuits, motors, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) troubleshooting, and control wiring (up to 480V).
    
    
  • Mechanical: Repair and replace gearboxes, bearings, pumps, and other rotating equipment.
    
    
  • Hydraulic/Pneumatic: Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic presses, cylinders, valves, and pneumatic systems.
    
    
• Documentation: Accurately document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  
  
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and confined space protocols.
  
  
• Facility Maintenance: Assist with general building and facility maintenance as needed.
  
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with production supervisors and operators to coordinate repairs and communicate machine status.
