Responsibilities

 

• Leading the Team:
  
  
  • Guide and train shipping staff.
    
    
  • Give out daily tasks and make sure work is completed fast and correctly.
    
    
  • Make sure the team follows all safety rules.
    
    
• Managing Shipments:
  
  
  • Oversee packing, labeling, and quality checking of all outgoing packages.
    
    
  • Schedule and coordinate truck and carrier pickups (like FedEx or UPS).
    
    
  • Prepare all necessary shipping papers (labels, tracking numbers, etc.).
    
    
  • Resolve problems if shipments are wrong or damaged.
    
    
• Area Control:
  
  
  • Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and safe.
    
    
  • Help manage inventory of packaging materials.
    
    
  • Safely operate material handling equipment (like a forklift/pallet jack).
