Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
- Own the day-to-day field execution for multiple roofing projects, managing them from mobilization through final inspection and closeout.
- Plan resources, including crews, equipment, crane/lift, dumpsters, traffic control, and deliveries, to meet schedule and margin targets.
- Enforce HVHZ/Miami-Dade NOAS (Notice of Acceptance), Florida Building Code (FBC), and manufacturer specifications.
- Prepare for and pass all required inspections (dry-in, in-progress, and final).
- Walk the job site daily, using CompanyCam to document progress and conditions, and upload documentation to AccuLynx with correct tags and notes.
- Coordinate with homeowners, HOAs, and property managers, focusing on proactive communication and setting clear expectations.
- Verify measurements, take-offs, change orders, and extras to protect gross margin and cash flow.
- Manage punch-list items and warranty triage, driving zero-defect closeouts.
- Ensure site safety, proper fall protection, and maintain clean, professional job sites.
- Audit subcontractor insurance and compliance requirements before project start.
Qualifications (What You'll Bring)
- 3-5+ years of experience supervising roofing projects in a High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) environment, covering tile, metal, shingle, and flat roofing.
- Working knowledge of the Florida Building Code (FBC), Miami-Dade NOAs, and the inspection process.
- Experience using AccuLynx and CompanyCam or similar software.
- strong discipline in scheduling, communication, and documentation.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to work in the field daily.
