Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex industrial machinery, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform comprehensive diagnosis and corrective action on equipment used for metal processing, fabrication, and forming, such as shears, folders, coil handling systems, and roll-forming machines.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Interpret and apply technical documentation, including diagrams, schematics, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications, to guide installations and repairs.
- Utilize a variety of tools, including hand tools, power tools, precision-measuring devices, and electronic/electrical test instruments.
- Provide effective technical assistance and support for machinery installed at customer locations, including managing and completing warranty service.
- Offer remote technical support and assistance to customers via phone and an internal help desk system.
- Conduct on-site training and instruction for customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures during the installation process.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism and a commitment to quality workmanship in all field and remote service interactions.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and customer staff to ensure successful project execution and to support organizational growth.
