IFCO is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician II for our 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM). This role is critical to our facility's success, focusing on the skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, and physical structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facilities, mechanical components, and advanced electrical systems (including HVAC).
- Proactively identify and resolve safety issues with all mechanical and electrical devices.
- Execute corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance plans to minimize operational downtime.
- Maintain and manage a spare parts inventory, recommending purchases as needed.
- Support new project installations, start-ups, and long-term operation.
- Assist the Maintenance Lead in improving facility efficiency and workflow.
- Oversee and review the work of lower-level technicians and assist in training warehouse personnel.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in operational methods.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in general maintenance, machine operations, and facility maintenance.
- Specific experience maintaining high-volume conveying systems.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in PLC and advanced electrical operational maintenance and repair.
- Demonstrated experience with motors, electrical systems, large-volume washers, and water systems.
- Previous experience with welding, pipe installation/repair, and heating/boiler units.
- Working knowledge of general facility maintenance (e.g., doors, office fixtures, forklifts).
Schedule
- Shift: 2nd Shift
- Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Some weekend shifts will be required.

Responsibilities
- The Maintenance Technician II performs skilled maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structures
- Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs facilities mechanical components and electrical systems in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies
- Develops, maintains, and secures a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools
- Recommends purchase of maintenance tools, equipment and supplies as required
- Assists Maintenance Lead in developing methods and procedures to improve facility efficiency and workflow
- Oversee and review the work of lower-level technicians
- Locate, identify, and resolve any safety issues with mechanical or electrical devices
- Proactively investigate needs, evaluate issues, and present/recommend alternatives to decrease overall facility operational downtime thus increasing operational effectiveness
- Develop and maintain purchasing/inventory controls for repair parts and tool inventories
