Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures on wash lines, centrifuges, and palletizers.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Perform scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime and increase machine efficiency.
- Electrical Work: Troubleshoot 480V 3-phase motors, VFDs, sensors, and basic PLC controls.
- Fabrication: Perform basic welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
- Safety: Adhere strictly to LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures and GMP standards in a wash-down environment.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing or distribution environment).
- Technical Skills: strong proficiency in reading blueprints/schematics and working with conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes.
- Tools: Must have own basic hand tools.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled, wet environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work 12-hour shifts on the Weekend Schedule with potential overtime.
