What You’ll Do
- Maintain lighting, plumbing, and facility grounds to high standards
- Complete work orders accurately and on time
- Respond quickly to maintenance calls and perform needed repairs
- Operate, upgrade, and monitor equipment before and after repairs
- Provide feedback on equipment performance and facility conditions
- Complete daily checklists and work logs
- Ensure equipment meets OEM and production needs
- Request, organize, and track spare parts
- Fabricate parts when needed
- Support other departments to meet production schedules
- Keep work areas clean and safe
- Follow SOPs, GMPs, and all safety guidelines
- Suggest process and cost-saving improvements
- Perform other maintenance duties as assigned
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent
- 3–5 years of experience in electricity, pneumatics, welding, machining, or plumbing
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Food manufacturing experience is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals
- Strong math and documentation skills
- Accurate measurement and scale use
- Effective communication with diverse teams
- English required; Spanish helpful
- Ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment

Responsibilities
- Ensures overall integrity of plant lighting, plumbing, and grounds is kept to the highest standards.
- Ensures completion of Work Orders that are assigned to them or their department.
- Ensures calls for maintenance are answered in a timely fashion and performs repairs and adjustments as required.
- Operates related equipment as needed or assigned and performs upgrades or changes to equipment if needed.
- Monitors equipment performance before, during, and after necessary repairs.
- Provides feedback on equipment performance, facility upkeep, employee performance and noncompliance issues if any.
- Performs daily checklists as required and completes any necessary work logs.
- Observes equipment to make sure it is operating to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) standards and production satisfaction and is operational for production.
- Requests parts, maintains and assists in organizing equipment spare parts storage.
- Fabricates parts as needed or required.
- Provides coverage and or assistance as needed throughout facility to meet production schedules and or equipment needs.
- Confers with other Leads to coordinate activities of individual departments.
- Performs all Maintenance functions within each department
