Your Role & Key Responsibilities:
- Process & Documentation: Accurately pick, pack, and label outgoing customer orders. Generate and verify all documentation, including BOLs, customs forms, and manifests.
- Systems Management: Utilize TMS, carrier software (e.g., WorldShip, Ship Manager), and ERP systems to process shipments and determine the most cost-effective methods.
- Equipment Operation: Safely and proficiently operate forklifts, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks for loading, unloading, and staging freight. Perform daily MHE safety checks.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to domestic/international shipping regulations and company safety standards (OSHA).
- Coordination: Coordinate staging and carrier pickups. Communicate with internal teams to resolve shipping and inventory issues.
- 3+ years of experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proven proficiency with multiple shipping software platforms.
- Certified or experienced operating MHE (forklift, pallet jack).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

- Operate and manage various Transportation Management Systems (TMS), carrier software (e.g., FedEx, UPS), and ERP systems to process shipments and track status.
- Determine the most cost-effective and efficient carrier/method based on weight, dimensions, destination, and delivery deadline.
- Maintain current knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and compliance.
- Operate and manage various Transportation Management Systems (TMS), carrier software (e.g., FedEx, UPS), and ERP systems to process shipments and track status.
- Warehouse Equipment Proficiency:
- Safely and proficiently operate diverse Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and reach trucks, for loading and staging.
- Perform routine MHE pre-operation checks and promptly report mechanical issues or damage
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping/dock environment, adhering strictly to OSHA and company safety standards.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and cycle counting related to shipping supplies.
- Safely and proficiently operate diverse Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and reach trucks, for loading and staging.
