Responsibilities
Procurement & Inventory Management:
- Maintain a detailed report of the balance on hand to determine ordering needs, track supplies, and collaborate with teams on inventory issues.
- Conduct monthly physical inventory counts and walk-throughs with vendors to ensure accuracy and stock availability.
- Create and manage purchase orders (POs) within the financial system.
- Analyze supplier performance, negotiate pricing, and manage key supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with management on forecasting supply needs for customer launches and peak seasons.
- Work with the Facility Manager and maintenance team on scheduling necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor inventory items and lead times, reporting any delays due to backorders or shipping issues.
- Assist in processing accounts payable (AP), including preparing invoice batches and inputting vendor invoices.
- Assist in processing accounts receivable (AR), including new accounts and customer payment processes.
- Track all spending and maintain an accurate invoice tracker for both sites.
- Perform and track monthly accruals to support accurate financial closing.
- Three plus years of inventory and purchasing experience
- Familiarity with common office software, web-based applications, and data entry.
- College degree preferred
