- Equipment Repair & Troubleshooting: Perform timely and effective repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting on a variety of industrial production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Fabrication & Modification: Fabricate, modify, and repair equipment parts, tooling, and fixtures using standard shop equipment (welders, lathes, mills, etc.) as needed.
- Installation Support: Actively participate in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and production equipment, providing guidance and physical assistance.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and inspections to maximize equipment longevity and operational reliability.
- Documentation & Compliance: Understand and record data accurately on process documents, and adhere strictly to all required safety and quality procedures.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Multi-Craft Technician, or equivalent role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Technical Skills: proficiency in at least two of the following areas. Electrical experience is highly preferred.
- Electrical systems (PLCs, motor controls, sensors, 480V/3-phase power).
- Mechanical systems (pneumatics, hydraulics, gears, pumps).
- Welding/Fabrication (MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Safety & Compliance Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of and adherence to:
- OSHA regulated programs (including general safety and compliance).
- Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Quality Procedures: Experience with and commitment to Food Defense, GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), HAACP, and CCP (Critical Control Point) Procedures.
- Operational Acumen: Ability to safely perform Machine Operation and possess the capability to read, understand, and adhere to production specifications, including the understanding and recording of data on process documents.
