Responsibilities

• Inspection: Examine incoming, in-process, and finished materials against customer standards and specifications.
  
  
• Documentation: Accept or reject parts and document results; complete First Article Inspections (AS9102 format is preferred).
  
  
• Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret inspection manuals, work orders, engineering drawings/blueprints, and specifications.
  
  
• Measurement Tools: Must be skilled with basic tools (Micrometer, Calipers, Height Gages).
  
  
• Automation: HIGHLY preferred ability to operate automated measurement equipment like a Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) and/or Faro Arm.
  
  
• Feedback & Analysis: Provide technical feedback to engineering and prefer an understanding of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for non-conformances.
  
  
• Teamwork: Willingness to train personnel and provide professional, objective communication across all organizational levels.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED.
  
  
• 3+ years of inspection experience is required.
  
  
• U.S. Citizenship is Required.
  
  
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience (sheet metal, welding, machining preferred).
  
  
• Ability to read engineering drawings; GD&T familiarity (ANSI Y14.5M-2009) is preferred.
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  
  
• Knowledge of QMS environments (ISO 9001, AS 9100) and statistical sampling plans (ANSI Z1.4) is a plus.
