Responsibilities
- Perform precision fitting and assembly of components, including sub-assemblies and complete machines, ensuring strict adherence to engineering specifications and tolerances.
- Accurately read, understand, and interpret complex technical blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to determine assembly procedures and component requirements.
- Install and integrate various mechanical and fluid power components, including: Pumps, valves, and fluid power lines (pneumatics and hydraulics). Motors, gearboxes, and drive systems. Mechanical gears, belts, chains, and bearing assemblies. Sensors and basic electrical/electronic components that interface with mechanical systems.
- Utilize a wide range of precision hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches) to ensure accurate assembly and alignment.
- Conduct in-process checks, inspect parts for defects, and assist in the functional testing and troubleshooting of completed machines or sub-assemblies.
- Complete required production paperwork, logs, and quality control documentation.
