Responsibilities
- Receiving Operations:
- Unload and inspect incoming shipments for damage, quantity discrepancies, and accuracy against purchase orders or manifests.
- Document all received goods, recording lot numbers, dates, and vendor information into the inventory management system.
- Tag, label, and move received materials to the appropriate staging or storage locations.

- Shipping Operations:
- Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment according to pick lists and customer specifications.
- Package goods securely (crating, boxing, shrink-wrapping) to prevent damage during transit.
- Generate shipping labels, bills of lading (BOLs), customs forms, and other required documentation using carrier software (e.g., FedEx, UPS, freight carriers).
- Schedule pickups with various freight and parcel carriers.
- Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment according to pick lists and customer specifications.
- Inventory Control:
- Perform cycle counting and physical inventory counts as required to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Assist in investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.

- Documentation & System Use:
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or ERP software to process transactions and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all shipping and receiving paperwork.
