Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment (Picking & Packing): Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using pick lists or handheld scanning devices. Inspect items for damage and ensure correct quantities before packaging. Prepare and label packages for shipment.
- Loading & Unloading: Manually load and unload trucks, containers, and staging areas, ensuring that all products are handled safely to prevent damage.
- Material Handling: Move materials and products throughout the warehouse using non-powered equipment like pallet jacks or hand trucks. Assist in stacking and organizing items in designated inventory locations.
- Inventory Assistance: Help with cycle counting and physical inventories, ensuring stock is accurately accounted for and organized. Identify and report any product discrepancies or damaged inventory.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This includes sweeping, removing debris, breaking down cardboard, and ensuring aisles and exits remain clear.
- Equipment Operation: Follow all safety guidelines when operating basic warehouse equipment. Report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Teamwork & Communication: Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff, clerks, and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping goals.
