level iv field service technician.

A manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC is looking for an Level IV Field Service Technician looking to interview candidates ASAP. This role is fast paced and demanding. This company is growing quickly and willing to train for upward progression. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. This will operate off the 1st shift schedule Monday-Friday. Previous experience with Field Service Technician and CNC experience is required.  This role does require 80-90% travel!!

salary: $72,800 - $95,680 per year

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facility to provide troubleshooting and repair support when required
• Travel to customer facility for installation of new introductory model equipment
• Travel to customer facility for installation of retrofits and install design improvements
• Diagnosing and helping our customers with problems either on the phone or by e-mail
• Generate technical bulletins and repair manuals
• Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices
• Performs other duties as assigned and explores opportunities to add value





The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

Electronic Maintenance (8 years of experience is preferred)

Mechanical Maintenance (8 years of experience is preferred)

Machine Tooling Experience (8 years of experience is preferred)

CNC Machining (8 years of experience is preferred)

CNC Programming (8 years of experience is preferred)

PLC Experience (8 years of experience is preferred)

Hydraulic Maintenance (8 years of experience is preferred)

Pneumatic Experience (8 years of experience is preferred)

Okuma-Howa Product Knowledge (5 years of experience is preferred)

FANUC CNC experience (5 years of experience is preferred)

Servo System Experience (6 years of experience is preferred)
