Responsibilities
- High-Urgency Repair & PM: Perform essential PMs and quickly resolve unplanned electrical/mechanical issues on production lines (freezers, fillers) to uphold quality/compliance.
- Utility & Safety Focus: Maintain specialized utilities, including non-PSM components of the ammonia refrigeration system, steam, and compressed air. Complete high-priority safety work orders (LOTO devices, guarding).
- Drive Reliability: Implement Reliability-Centered Maintenance principles to eliminate chronic equipment failures and collaborate with operators on Total Productive Maintenance tasks.
- Technical Versatility: Use shop tools, TIG/MIG welder, and material handling equipment (forklift/scissor lift). Assist Engineering with equipment installation/commissioning.
- Documentation: Accurately use CMMS for parts identification, repair tracking, and communicating order status.
- Experience (Minimum): 3+ years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a food or beverage production environment is preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical controls. Working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Preferred Skills: Technical degree (Industrial/Electrical/Mechanical), PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley), reading schematics.
- Aptitude: Passion for GMP/Food Safety, team communication, and continuous improvement
