Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance and Repair:
- Conduct hands-on preventative maintenance and mechanical/electrical repair work.
- Provide maintenance support to production and other departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain department tools and equipment, including inventory and repair
- Participate in new equipment installations, modifications, or special projects
- Servicing, repairing, calibrating, regulating, fine-tuning, or testing machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily based on electrical or electronic (not mechanical) principles.
- Other tasks may be assigned as needed.
Skills:
- Communication skills, written and verbal
- Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Fabrication and machine shop proficiency
- Welding experience – Mig/Tig/Arc
- PLC – Basic troubleshooting
- Electrical controls – Intermediate/Expert
- Problem-solving, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills are required
- Excellent attention to detail/accuracy and organizational skills
- Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
- Review technical documents to plan work.
