- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- In-depth knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and IICL regulations.
- Must be able to perform “walk-around” inspection of chassis, as well as using a crawler to check brakes and axles as required.
- On an infrequent basis, must be able to lift and move approx. 50 lbs.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities
This position works with depots and vendors to provide our customers with safe, reliable equipment, in full compliance with FMCSA regulations and policies. This role operates in a local area to ensure equipment and services meet company operating SOP’s, regulatory and safety requirements, and quality and performance metrics. This role will conduct inspections and audits of the Vendors’ quality of work and report same to Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly conduct PRI (Post Repair Inspections), on-site at vendor location of chassis as assigned and coordinated with vendor and/or customers. Report on findings and variances, and conducts follow-up at the Depots and other locations as assigned to ensure standards are maintained and SOPs are being followed.
- Conduct physical audits onsite at vendor location of the ingate and outgate processes to ensure depot is following SOPs and standards.
- Maintain and submit PRI reports as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
