Responsibilities
- Inventory Auditing: Perform daily physical counts of inventory, including floor stock, silos, and railcars.
- Data Management: Utilize Oracle to process daily production by applying recipes and Bills of Materials (BOM) to deduct raw materials and update finished goods levels.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage the daily shipping and receiving schedule, scale trucks in and out of the facility, and maintain detailed incoming/outgoing logs.
- Production Support: Update daily production weights (in pounds), print raw material labels, and coordinate recipe reports with lab technicians.
- System Maintenance: Receive materials and ship-confirm orders within Oracle to ensure all transactions are closed out accurately.
- Reporting: Conduct weekly cycle counts and complete comprehensive month-end inventory documentation.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Technical Proficiency: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; typing speed of 40–50 WPM.
- Systems Knowledge: At least 1 year of experience with inventory management systems.
- Mathematical Aptitude: strong basic arithmetic skills for weight and volume calculations.
- Core Skills: strong warehouse foundational knowledge with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
