The Porter ensures that the building’s interior and exterior remain clean, safe, and welcoming. This role combines janitorial duties with light maintenance and occasional tenant/guest interaction. The goal is to maintain a high standard of curb appeal and facility hygiene throughout the day. Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for cleanliness and the ability to spot areas that need attention before they become a problem.

Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and vacuum lobbies, hallways, and common areas. Clean glass entryways and polish fixtures to maintain a professional look.
  
  
• Trash Management: Empty and reline trash and recycling bins. Monitor outdoor areas (parking lots and sidewalks) for litter and debris.
  
  
• Restock Supplies: Regularly check and replenish restrooms and breakrooms with paper products, soap, and sanitizers.
  
  
• Light Repairs: Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, tightening loose hardware, or reporting larger issues to the supervisor.
  
  
• Event Support: Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture for meetings, events, or resident gatherings.
  
  
• Safety Compliance: Identify and mark safety hazards (e.g., wet floor signs) and ensure all exits are clear of obstructions.
  
  
• Customer Service: Greet tenants and visitors professionally; provide directions or basic assistance as needed.
