- Loading & Unloading: Safely move raw materials and finished goods from trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Freight Preparation: Expertly palletize, stack, and shrink-wrap products to ensure they arrive at their destination damage-free.
- Documentation: Prepare and verify Bills of Lading (BOL), packing lists, and shipping manifests with high accuracy.
- Inventory Control: Check incoming shipments against POs to ensure correct quantities and report any damages immediately.
- Safety First: Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment. Technical Skills: Proficient in BOL preparation and basic computer entry for shipping portals (UPS, FedEx, or LTL carriers). Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for the duration of your shift. Reliability: A good work ethic and the ability to be punctual for every shift in our Edgewater facility.

Responsibilities
Core Logistics & Material Handling
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently manage the arrival and departure of freight trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Palletization: Securely stack and organize finished goods onto pallets to maximize space and ensure stability during transit.
- Shrink Wrapping: Professionally wrap and secure outgoing shipments to prevent damage and shifting while in the cargo hold.
- Inventory Verification: Compare incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy in quantity and quality; report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- BOL Proficiency: Generate and process accurate Bills of Lading (BOL), packing slips, and shipping labels using our internal software and carrier portals.
- Carrier Coordination: Communicate effectively with freight drivers and dispatchers to ensure scheduled pick-ups and deliveries stay on track.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized digital and physical logs of all inbound and outbound shipments for audit purposes.
