We are searching for a First Shift Maintenance Technician at a metal component manufacturer supplying the automotive and aerospace industries in Troy, MI.  This critical role offers a preferred 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM), with the potential for overtime on Fridays. Experience with repairing both newer and older machines is ideal. If you are a versatile professional proficient in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and have experience maintaining equipment in industries such as stamping, forming, or injection molding, seize this opportunity and apply today!

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PM tasks, inspections, and adjustments to machinery to prevent failure.
• Electrical Systems: Work with and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, including up to 480V and control circuits and servo drives.
• Mechanical Systems: Maintain and repair mechanical components such as gearboxes, bearings, chains, sprockets, and seals. Perform pipefitting and tubing repair.
• Facilities Maintenance: Assist with general building and grounds maintenance, including HVAC and lighting systems, if needed.
• Documentation: Accurately document all maintenance work performed.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all plant safety regulations.
