The Team Lead (1st Shift) is a key role responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the Assembly Line team. You will work closely with the Area Supervisor to ensure production goals are met while maintaining safety, quality, and operational standards. As a leader, you will mentor and train associates, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
salary: $46,000 - $50,000 per year

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and oversee the daily tasks of the Assembly Line team.
- Act as a trainer and mentor to new associates and those undergoing cross-training.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Utilize Bosch Production System (BPS) principles to optimize processes.
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet on-time delivery goals.
- Read and interpret work instructions, product drawings, and handling sheets.
- Perform functional tests, inspections, and identify defects.
- Label non-conforming materials and support rework activities.
- Support other departments when needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and apply work instructions, follow directions, and ensure safety and quality compliance.
- strong communication and coordination skills to manage a team of 10-15 people.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
- Flexibility to work in other departments and overtime as requested.
- Previous manufacturing experience in assembly and/or CNC machine operation.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
- Problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
