Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection Duties: Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of precision machined parts, castings, forgings, and electro-mechanical assemblies using a variety of precision measuring instruments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date acceptance and rejection records, certifications, and inspection logs as required by applicable specifications.
- Compliance: Ensure all products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and internal quality metrics. Participate in customer audits and comply with Quality Management System requirements such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and Nadcap.
- Non-Conformance Management: Identify defective conditions and test failures, prepare appropriate documentation, and assist in the disposition of non-conforming materials.
- Training and Development: Train and certify operators and other inspectors, providing guidance on quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Certifications such as AS13001, AS9102, or DQR are preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related inspection experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments. Experience with customer portals, GD&T, and metrology is advantageous.

- Ability to use and calibrate mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical measuring instruments and gauges.

- Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
