One year certificate from college or technical school; or 12-18 months related experience and/or equivalent combination of both. Knowledge of tick and wire-feed welding machines. Experience operating small power tools. Capable of both written and verbal communications in English. The ability to operate daily out of the Brookshire, Texas facility. Responsibilities

Use the following equipment: Mig, Tig, arc welder, and oxy oxygen and acetylene.
Produce acceptable welds in all positions following the company’s WPS.
Select proper procedures, fillers, and equipment for various types of welding.
Notify the supervisor of known or suspected problems with equipment, drawings, or parts.
Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
Exercise their freedom and ability to identify areas for improvement and to initiate, recommend, or provide solutions to EHS related issues.
Maintain a safe and clean work area.
Use materials efficiently to minimize waste.
Perform other duties and necessary.

1st Shift - 6am - 2:30pm

2nd Shift - 3pm - 11:30pm
