Key Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift to move palletized freight from trailers to the warehouse floor.
- Inbound/Outbound Logistics: Verify packing slips against physical inventory to ensure accuracy during receiving.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counting, organizing shelves, and maintaining a clean, "audit-ready" warehouse.
- Direct Coordination: Work directly with truck drivers to coordinate dock times and load sequences.
- General Support: Be willing to assist with manual picking, packing, or cleaning as needed in a small-team setting.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Certification (Sit-down, Stand-up, or Reach truck).
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- (Preferred): Ability to speak both English and Spanish is highly preferred to communicate with our diverse driver base and team members.
- Attention to Detail: ability to spot discrepancies in shipping labels and inventory counts.
- Reliability: Since this is a small team, consistent attendance is vital to our success.
