Responsibilities
- Expertly assemble mechanical items, including instruments, mechanisms, and machines, according to assembly drawings and instructions.
- Read and accurately interpret complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure precise and compliant builds.
- Perform operations such as drilling, reaming, pressing, and aligning components.
- Utilize a variety of precision tools, including hand tools, manual presses, calipers, and micrometers.
- Conduct basic wiring, crimping, and electrical assembly (such as ribbon cable low-voltage wiring) as needed.
- Test and troubleshoot assembled systems to confirm dimensional, electrical, and functional integrity.
- Adhere strictly to safety, quality (e.g., ISO 9001), and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate effectively with supervisors and a team of other mechanical and electronics assemblers
