The ideal candidate will be the final point of quality control for our products, ensuring every package is accurately labeled, inspected, and tracked from our dock to the customer’s door.
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics Software Management: Utilize UPS WorldShip and other multi-carrier platforms to generate accurate shipping labels and documentation.
- Domestic & International Shipping: Prepare all necessary paperwork for domestic freight and international exports (including customs forms and commercial invoices).
- Package Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure item accuracy and prevent damage.
- Tracking & Documentation: Proactively track packages and maintain digital records of all shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Material Handling: Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load/unload trailers and move pallets throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify packing lists against physical counts and update the system accordingly.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a dedicated Shipping & Receiving role.
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in UPS WorldShip; experience with FedEx Ship Manager or other ERP/WMS software is a plus.
- Logistics Knowledge: understanding of international shipping regulations and carrier-specific requirements.
- Equipment: Proven experience and/or certification in operating a sit-down forklift.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies in SKU numbers, quantities, and shipping addresses.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to [Insert Weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and remain active on your feet for the duration of the shift.
