Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lathe Setup & Operation: Perform full setups on 2-axis Lathes, including tool installation, workholding adjustment, and setting part zeros.
- Control Proficiency: Navigate and operate Fanuc control systems fluently.
- G-Code Editing: Read and perform minor G-code edits at the controller to optimize tool paths or adjust for tool wear.
- Secondary Mill Support: Operate a 3-axis CNC Mill with Fagar controls
- Quality Assurance: Use calipers and micrometers to maintain tight tolerances, ensuring every gram of material is used efficiently.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in CNC turning (Lathe).
- Programming: Ability to interpret and manually edit G-code.
- Controls: Proficiency in Fanuc is required
- Material Handling: Experience working with metals (Gold, Silver, Brass, or Platinum) is preferred.
