What You’ll Do
- Team Leadership: Direct, coordinate, and manage maintenance personnel, providing consistent leadership and professional assertiveness.
- Safety First: Lead safety processes to sustain a safe work environment, ensuring all team members follow OSHA, company policies, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Technical Oversight: Diagnose root causes of complex malfunctions involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and inspections to ensure process reliability and high return on assets.
- Financial & Reporting: Manage parts inventory, calculate the costs of maintenance decisions, and maintain accurate records of time and material usage.
- Employee Development: Act as a teacher for your team, using coaching and delegation to develop staff.
- Crisis Management: Maintain high emotional control during equipment breakdowns to lead personnel to successful resolutions.
- Experience: 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of corrugated converting equipment and control systems like PLCs and VFDs.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Ability to read factory technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Math: Proficiency in applying high school math, including percentages, measurements, and volumes.
- Physical: Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing setting.
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance or mechatronics

- Safety Leadership: Lead safety processes to sustain a safe work environment, ensuring all team members follow OSHA, company policies, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Operational Excellence: Achieve desired results in Quality and Process Reliability to ensure the lowest cost and best quality with a high return on assets.
- Preventive Maintenance: Oversee the implementation of scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and inspections on all production equipment and facility systems.
- Technical Oversight: Diagnose root causes of complex equipment malfunctions (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic) and ensure prompt corrective actions.
- Financial Accountability: Demonstrate an understanding of key financial drivers and be fluent in calculating the costs of maintenance decisions and parts inventory management.
- Reporting & Documentation: Responsible for the correct reporting of time, material usage, and maintenance history records.
- Employee Development: Act as a teacher for personnel, using coaching, delegation, and both positive and corrective feedback to develop the maintenance team.
