Responsibilities
- Meet the minimum requirement of either a certification in electronic technology with 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or a total of 3 years of specialized experience in the field.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, and material handling machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic problems involving Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/Output devices.
- Interpret technical drawings such as blueprints and electronic or mechanical schematics to identify and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Complete all required work orders, repair logs, and computer-based documents accurately according to established facility procedures.
- Operate various types of powered machinery including material handling equipment and other large power equipment to facilitate repairs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and suppliers verbally or in writing to coordinate maintenance activities.
- Utilize diagnostic tools like multi-meters and laptops to test equipment performance and verify electrical system integrity.
- Follow all safety protocols by wearing required personal protective equipment and maintaining a clean work environment in industrial conditions.
