Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule a crew of 10–20 sanitation technicians.
- Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs): Develop, implement, and enforce strict SSOPs for all production lines and equipment.
- Chemical Management: Oversee the safe handling, titration, and storage of industrial cleaning chemicals (caustics, acids, and sanitizers).
- Audit Readiness: Lead the facility through internal and third-party audits (SQF, BRC, AIB, or FDA/USDA).
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), PPE, and Fall Protection requirements during the sanitation cycle.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze ATP swab results and environmental monitoring data to identify "hot spots" and improve cleaning effectiveness.
