Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and complex repairs on a variety of equipment including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot intricate equipment problems where the necessary repair is not immediately visible or obvious to ensure minimal downtime.
- Read and interpret technical drawings such as blueprints and electronic schematics to accurately repair and maintain facility machinery.
- Operate various powered equipment including material handling units and battery equipment to support daily department operations.
- Complete work orders and maintain digital or written records and logs according to established company procedures.
- Maintain the building facilities and grounds including plumbing, fencing, and parking lots to ensure a safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and suppliers to coordinate repairs and assist other technicians with maintenance tasks.
- Follow strict safety protocols by wearing required personal protective equipment for fall, chemical, and electrical protection.
