The Role As a Warehouse Specialist, you won’t just be moving boxes; you’ll be the engine of our supply chain. You will be responsible for the safe movement, storage, and shipment of heavy metal materials using both your physical strength and precision machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Heavy Lifting: Manually move, stack, and organize metal stock (up to 50+ lbs) on a consistent, daily basis.
- Precision Operation: Masterfully operate forklifts and reach trucks to navigate tight aisles and high-rack storage.
- Shipping & Receiving: Expertly load/unload flatbeds and containers, ensuring all materials are secured and documented.
- Quality Control: Inspect metal products for specifications and damage before they head to our customers.
- Inventory Management: Use RF scanners to maintain real-time accuracy of our high-value stock.
- Physical Resilience: You are comfortable with a physically demanding "industrial athlete" lifestyle.

Responsibilities
- Heavy Material Handling: Manually lift, carry, and stack metal components and materials consistently throughout the shift. This requires adherence to strict ergonomic safety standards to prevent injury.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate industrial vehicles, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up reaches, or side-loaders, to transport oversized metal loads and palletized goods.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently clear incoming freight from trailers and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring weight distribution is balanced for transit.
- Order Picking & Packing: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or RF scanners to accurately pull metal stock based on customer invoices, ensuring the correct grade and quantity are selected.
- Inventory Control: Conduct cycle counts and assist in periodic physical audits to maintain 99.9% inventory accuracy.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming materials for defects, rust, or damage and verify that documentation (MTRs or packing slips) matches the physical product.
- Safety & Maintenance: Perform daily pre-operation inspections on forklifts and maintain a "5S" organized workspace to eliminate trip hazards and metal debris.
