Responsibilities

HVAC Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to ensure the integrity of our climate-controlled facilities. You will manage critical systems supporting live animal environments and food-safe storage, directly impacting animal welfare and product safety.

Key Responsibilities

• System Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on industrial boilers, chillers, air handlers, and exhaust systems.
  
  
• Environmental Controls: Calibrate automated systems for temperature, humidity, and ammonia levels.
  
  
• Industrial Refrigeration: Repair and maintain large-scale cold storage and freezers.
  
  
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues using blueprints and diagnostic tools.
  
  
• Air Quality: Manage high-capacity filtration to control dust and pathogens.
  
  
• Emergency Response: Participate in an on-call rotation for critical system failures.
  
  
• Compliance: Log all activities and refrigerant usage in the CMMS for EPA compliance.
