What You’ll Do
- Lead daily safety walks and job site inspections
- Deliver toolbox talks and on-site safety training in English & Spanish
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Support crews with hazard assessments and pre-task planning
- Assist with incident reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience in construction, utilities, or industrial safety
- Spanish & English (Preferred)
- OSHA 10/30 certification (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily job site safety inspections, hazard assessments, and safety observations.
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA, DOT, and utility/energy industry standards.
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-site safety training.
- Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis.
- Verify proper use of PPE, lockout/tagout, confined space, excavation, and fall protection procedures.
- Support contractor and subcontractor safety compliance and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, permits, and inspection records.
- Participate in job safety analyses (JSAs) and pre-task planning meetings.
- Serve as a point of contact for safety concerns and regulatory inspections.
