Job Summary Technical specialist responsible for the installation and repair of Turbomolecular Pumps (TMPs) used in semiconductor manufacturing. Supports Tier-1 OEMs to ensure tool uptime in high-pressure Fab environments.
Core Duties
- On-Site Service: Install, troubleshoot, and repair heavy high-vacuum pumps at major fabs.
- Failure Analysis: Create detailed FA reports and collaborate with engineering teams in Japan for root-cause resolution.
- OEM Support: Provide technical training and guidance to customers to optimize vacuum tool performance.
- Logistics: Manage specialized inventory, shipping/receiving, and quality inspections for critical service parts.
- Education: AS/BS in Engineering or equivalent military technical/vocational training.
- Experience: 3–5 years in Field Service or Equipment Maintenance (Semiconductor/Vacuum preferred).
- Skills: Proficient in reading complex schematics and using precision diagnostic tools (HeLD, Balancers).
- Physicality: Ability to handle large, heavy industrial components (approx. garbage-can size).
