The Mangement and Materials Coordinator, would essentially be a Production Liaison, acting as the critical "connective tissue" between customer expectations and shop-floor reality.
This is a position that requires the analytical mind of a planner and the physical presence of a floor coordinator. This position is not a desk job. You would be expected to have floor presence assising assemblers, ensuring they have necessary materials, and making sure the right products are built at the right time to maintain a successful relationship with customers.

Responsibilities
The Production Coordinator / Liaison is responsible for streamlining the lifecycle of an order from the assembly bench to the customer. By bridging the gap between Planning and Customer Service, this person ensures that "past due" orders are minimized. They do this by troubleshooting material shortages, managing assembly priorities on the floor, and resolving Bill of Materials (BOM) or inventory discrepancies in real-time.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Order Age: Keeping the "age" of open orders as low as possible.
- Customer Satisfaction: Reducing the frequency of order escalations.
- Operational Efficiency: Grouping similar products to optimize batch assembly.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in a related field
- Comfortable with SAP/Excel, verbal and written communication, microsoft; understands BOMs
- Comfortable standing/walking for duration of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repetatively
- ability to work with Sustaining Engineering or Planners
