We are seeking a Maintenance Manager for our 1st shift (6 AM–6 PM, 2-2-3 schedule) to oversee injection molding and extrusion reliability. This role balances hands-on technical leadership with strategic PM/PdM planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Reliability: Manage repair/upkeep of injection molding machines, robots (EOAT), conveyors, and auxiliaries (chillers, dryers, blenders).
- PM/PdM Programs: Lead preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and assess technicians; manage shift handovers.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, LOTO, and ISO standards.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for complex electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures.
- Inventory & Budget: Control maintenance costs and manage critical spare parts inventory via CMMS.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement automation and equipment upgrades to reduce scrap.
- Experience: 5–7+ years in plastics manufacturing maintenance leadership.
- Technical Expertise: Expert knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs (Allen Bradley/Siemens), and industrial electronics.
- Operational Skills: Proven ability to manage work orders, budgets, and Lean manufacturing principles.
