- Inspections: Perform dimensional inspections on raw materials, tooling, and finished parts using calipers, gauges, and mechanical instruments.
- Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and QA plans to determine reliability standards.
- Compliance: Coordinate and maintain standards for ISO 9000 and specific customer requirements.
- Problem Solving: Review non-conforming products/processes and recommend modifications to improve quality and reduce losses.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed inspection logs, process tags, and rework documentation using manufacturing and spreadsheet software.
- Collaboration: Provide technical guidance to the operations team and communicate daily across all departments.
- Technical Proficiency: proven ability to use standard mechanical inspection tools and interpret complex technical documents/blueprints.
- Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and warehouse methods.
- Software Skills: Experience with Manufacturing software (ERP/MRP), Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting and internal training.
- Adaptability: A highly organized individual who thrives in independent work environments and can manage multiple priorities with ease.
