Location: Elk Grove Village, IL Pay: $28.14/hr + $2.00/hr shift differential Shifts (Mirrored Hours):
- Day: 5:45 AM – 6:15 PM
- Night: 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM 12-Hour Continental Schedule: 3 days one week / 4 days the next — off every other weekend

️ What You’ll Do
- Set up, operate, and feed cylinder printing presses
- Assist with press set-ups, material staging, and workflow
- Monitor print quality and verify first-piece specifications
- Clean presses during job changes
- Perform daily and periodic preventive maintenance
- Communicate job details during shift handoffs
- Follow GMPs, SOPs, CCP monitoring, and food safety standards
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and handle hazardous waste properly
- Complete quality documentation and report issues promptly
- Participate in continuous improvement and safety programs
- Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Previous Press Operator experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical work
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and strong safety mindset

Responsibilities
- Assist Press Operators to maintain the work flow and work quality on assigned press runs.
- Bring materials for press set-ups to press sites.
- Clean presses on job changes.
- Perform complex operations required to set up, operate and feed cylinder type printing press to produce a variety of items
- Operate Printing Press according to company printing procedures and guidelines.
- Direct Press Helper according to company printing procedures.
- Set-up jobs with assistance in the press and monitor the quality of the print as the press is running.
- Responsible for quality and safety of set-up and safe operational procedures.
- Communicate pertinent matters of the job with the press operator from the opposite shift at the beginning and end of the shift.
- Check first piece conformance to specifications.
- Perform daily and periodic preventative maintenance duties specified for assigned machines/equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of machines/equipment and adjacent work area.
- Utilize satellite containers for Hazardous Waste.
- “Hazard Waste Generator” – generates hazardous waste as part of prod Follow equipment and workplace cleaning/sanitation procedures, to complete Sanitation Checklist
- Follow GMP’s and PRP’s and Production SOP’s
