This is not a "touch-free" freight role. We are looking for a driver who is a true team player—someone willing to get out of the cab, operate a forklift, and physically assist with loading and unloading materials. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class B automatic transmission vehicles (Box Trucks and Flatbeds) in compliance with all DOT and traffic regulations.
- Navigate complex urban routes, specifically within the New York City metropolitan area, managing traffic, tight turns, and limited parking conditions efficiently.
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and tarps (for flatbed loads) to ensure safety during transport.
- Perform mandatory Pre-Trip and Post-Trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
