Responsibilities
- Precision Finishing: Use angle grinders, die grinders, and belt sanders to blend welds and remove imperfections without gouging the base metal.
- Surface Preparation: Achieve specific finishes (brushed, satin, or paint-ready) on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
- Fabrication Support: Assist in the layout, cutting, and tack-welding of metal components using saws, shears, and drill presses.
- Blueprint Literacy: Read and interpret shop drawings to ensure all parts meet specified dimensions and tolerances.
