We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team during an exciting phase of organizational expansion. This role is focused on the "heavy" side of industrial maintenance - specifically hydraulics, mechanical systems, and fabrication. You will be responsible for keeping our processing fleet (shears, balers, and conveyors) operational and efficient.

What You’ll Do

• Mechanical & Hydraulics: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy-duty hydraulic systems and mechanical components.
• Fabrication: Perform MIG/Stick welding and metal fabrication for equipment repairs and facility improvements.
• Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime and extend machinery life.
• Problem Solving: Diagnose complex mechanical failures and implement long-term fixes rather than temporary patches.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in heavy industrial maintenance.
• Hydraulics: Expertise in Hydraulics is required.
• Skills: Welding and fabrication skills.
• Tools: Must provide own basic tools (BYOT).
• Preferred: Experience in the scrap metal or recycling industry is highly preferred.
