We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Operator/Machinist to join our specialized production team.
The ideal candidate is someone who balances technical expertise with extreme attention to detail. Because you will be handling high-cost materials, a "zero-waste" mindset and a high level of integrity are non-negotiable.
salary: $62,400 - $83,200 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities
- Lathe/Mill Setup & Operation: Perform full setups on 2-axis Lathes, 3 axis Mills, including tool installation, workholding adjustments, and setting part zeros.
- Control Proficiency: Fluently navigate and operate Fanuc control systems.
- G-Code Editing: Read and perform manual G-code edits at the controller to optimize tool paths or adjust for tool wear.
- Department Support: Occasionally support the milling department by operating a 3-axis CNC Mill equipped with Fagor controls.
- Material Stewardship: Maintain a meticulous workspace to ensure 100% scrap collection and material accountability.
- Quality Assurance: Use calipers and micrometers to maintain tight tolerances, ensuring every gram of material is used efficiently.
