Randstad is looking for a great candidate with inventory management experience for a growing company on the Southside of Jacksonville. This position will require you to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to finish, approx. 5:00 pm. You must have 3 plus years of inventory or shipping/receiveing experience are required.

salary: $18 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, identifying shortages, and ordering new supplies as needed. 
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking stock movement, and ensuring data integrity. 
• Supplier Management: Collaborating with suppliers, negotiating prices, and managing deliveries. 
• Team Leadership: Hiring, training, and supervising inventory staff, delegating tasks, and creating schedules. 
• Process Improvement: Developing and implementing inventory control procedures, optimizing storage and handling, and identifying areas for improvement. 
• Reporting: Generating reports on inventory levels, turnover, and other key metrics.
• Automotive experience is a bonus but not required.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time
